The location is a standout feature, perfect for immersing oneself in the vibrant local atmosphere.
My stay at the hotel was lovely, with spacious rooms featuring antique furniture and very clean, comfortable beds. However, some areas showed signs of age and need for renovation, such as the wallpaper peeling due to dampness and dirty tiles in the bathroom.
The hotel is located in the heart of the town, just 10 minutes from bus and train stations. The rooms are modern but lack character, needing some additional storage space. Despite feeling a bit stark, they are cozy once you cool them down by opening a window. The service is excellent, providing a superb base for exploring Aix and its surroundings. The gray interior design may not be to everyone's taste but the staff are accommodating and helpful. The location is exceptional, right on Cours Mirabeau, offering easy access to all the town has to offer. The mediocre dining could use some improvement, although the service is friendly. Overall, a good value for the price.
